I have been teaching for 15 years, mostly in Kindergarten and in second language learning situations.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am passionate about teaching second languages and finding strategies to help my students learn and remember new vocabulary. I also love teaching and learning through play.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a B.Ed. with a focus on second language learning. I had always wanted to become a teacher though I have not always been bilingual. After high school, I decided to learn French and to go into an education program, taught exclusively in French. As an adult language learner (immersed in classes with native speakers), I was forced to develop strategies to help me learn and remember new vocabulary quickly and easily. Today, I am fully bilingual and love helping others develop strategies to learn a new language.
