I have taught at the high school, adult education, and post-secondary levels for over 15 years. Specializing in language arts and college/career preparation, I am experienced in working with the special education, English language learner, and gifted populations. I currently work as a program coordinator for a non-profit organization, providing education and career exploration services to students with disabilities.
My professional goals are two-sided: to equip students with the knowledge and skills to succeed in higher education and employment, while also inspiring curiosity and a genuine love of learning.
Each teaching experience is rewarding in its own unique way.
I earned a BS in Print and Multimedia Journalism from Emerson College and a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University.
Aside from education, my passions include animal rescue, organic gardening, healthy living, cooking, local history, and travel.
