TEACHING EXPERIENCE

i ♥ teaching music is the pet project of Mrs. K., a K-5 traveling elementary music teacher.

I have been teaching general music for 9+ years in a large suburban district where I split my time each week between 3-4 schools (depending on the year).

MY TEACHING STYLE

Teaching a la cart has forced me to get creative in my teaching & time management. I use technology as much as possible (space permitting) and love finding new ways to visually engage my students. All products offered in the i ♥ teaching music shop have been used in a variety of settings, including music classrooms, gen ed classrooms, libraries, cafeterias, and stage space. If they work for me, they should work for anybody!
