While working on my doctorate, I also focused on equity in education as well as integrating technology into the classroom to enhance learning.
I have always embodied a student-centered approach to teaching and learning. I believe that it is essential to capitalize on students' backgrounds, their funds of knowledge, and prior experiences in order to deliver rich and engaging instruction in the classroom.
