Miss Emma is creator of The Speech Sound Pics (SSP) Approach - used across Australia - and Director of The Reading Hut Ltd in the UK. She has created the ICRWY Project for neurotypical AND neurodivergent children aged 3 - 7. She divides her time between AU and the UK. Miss Emma loves the English countryside and is developing a Reading Therapy program for neurodivergent learners, using Border Collies. Her Braintree Forest Phonics activities and Code Level texts follow a 'farm and forest' theme, that are also suitable for older students; everyone loves animals! These can be used at home or in the Letters and Sounds or Speech Sound Pics Approach classroom; they align well with the Letters and Sounds grapheme teaching order. Code Mapping is used throughout.
