TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in Iowa, Connecticut, North Carolina, Misssouri, Alberta (Canada), and Texas. I have a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance a Master of Arts in Gifted Education, and a Creative Writing Certificate. My teaching experience includes general and vocal music, creative writing, fifth grade generalist, and gifted education. MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a strong advocate for voice and choice in the classroom. I prefer student-centered, constructivist, inquiry-based, project-oriented instructional design. I'm on a mission to introduce every student to the next great book, and to create learning spaces where critical and creative thinking flourish.
