My name is Angela Elston-Miller and I currently teach 5th grade in West Texas. I especially love everything math and science- not that the other stuff isn't fun!
Eclectic. I love to mesh together all kinds of ideas and find new ways to approach a topic. I especially love cooperative learning! Giving my students the chance to create and express their own ideas is what I strive to do everyday. Being around young minds is inspirational.

CATS! Did I mention that adore all things kitty? I love creating materials for my own classroom. I love the process of creating and playing with new ideas and themes. I also love cooking, knitting, reading, crafts, and the great outdoors. I grew up in the Texas panhandle in a wee town called Borger, TX. I met and married a great guy from San Antonio, TX this year. I always have enjoyed teaching- even in the other jobs that I had before I became a teacher. I always ended up being the one who trained new people on the job. That was my favorite part of whatever job I was doing! I decided that just MAYBE I should teach people professionally. I have been in love with teaching all my life, and now I get to do it all the time!
