I have spent six years in the elementary classroom.
I try to focus on being a facilitator instead of a lecturer and encourage my students to take charge of their learning by assisting them in achieving their goals.
I have received recognition for my students' growth, high expectations, and for my knowledge of math content.
I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 2007 and I completed my Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership in 2014. I received my education from Georgetown College.
I am a teacher, a wife, and a mother to two sweet toddler girls. I love to play the piano, spending time with my family, and focusing on my faith.
