I have been a teacher for 25 years, 23 of which I have spent at James Bowie High School in Austin, Texas. I explore new ways of making my students have conversations and discussions in the target language.
I use TFLA approved methods along with aiming at the new AP exam. I realize not all with make it to AP class but we pay these students a disservice if we treat them as just another regular student. I use technology in my class, allow my students to discover all the grammar rules and vocabulary. My classes are student centered, not teacher centered.
