TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in a variety of learning environments, I started my journey in education working in a middle school Life Skills classroom. I have also worked on a disciplinary campus where I taught everything from 3rd-12th grade, from general studies to middle school and high school English finishing my time there as a middle school math teacher and special education coordinator. I have worked as a middle school special education English teacher and Athletics coach. I now currently teach special education for 7th-9th graders in a virtual setting.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that all learners can have a passion for learning, but it first starts with building a relationship with them. I believe in giving students back the choices in what they are learning about and ensure that what we are teaching is relevant to what they are experiencing in their daily lives.
