TEACHING EXPERIENCE

While I have just finished my Masters in Secondary Ed (English), I've been teaching a variety of age groups in different subjects for a number of years. Most of my materials will range from 6-12 grade and tend to focus on creative, hands on activities as that is how I have been taught to teach (and have witnessed learning working best).

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have been told that Socrates lives again through me. I rely heavily on Socratic questioning as well a lot of creative group work. Since I have a background in both creative writing and theatre, I tend to produce lessons and activities that inspire students to be creative. Group work and projects are also a central focus of my teaching.
