I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st-3rd grade ESOL. Before that, I was a substitute teacher in which I served in many different settings including Autism, BIP (EBD), General Education, PID, EIP, ESOL, etc.
I am authoritative in my teaching style. I believe that both the teacher and the students have responsibilities in the classroom. Classroom rules should be student created with some teacher guidance.
I enjoyed learning as a child and I received a few awards during my middle and high school careers. I love foreign languages and was selected as a national winner in excellence in foreign languages in 7th grade for Spanish. I also won an AP spanish award at my high school Honors Night.
I have always loved learning. I couldn't get enough of it when I was in school. When I graduated from college, I was excited to start my career because it meant that I got to go back to elementary school! I grew up in Alpharetta,GA.
I am 29 years old and I love to create engaging lessons! Not only that, but I love being a teacher. This was the only career for me because it chose me when I was 5 years old. I couldn't imagine doing anything else! I love what I do!
