TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello everyone! And, welcome to my store! I am a Special Education teacher for the New York City Department of Education. I teach in a self-contained classroom for students with autism. I have experience teaching in all elementary grade levels from Kindergarten through 5th grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a teacher of student's with autism. In my school, we implement a variety of styles and programs to address the individual needs of our students. I use a structured teaching method that provides learning opportunities in small group, one on one, and independent settings.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling and Human Services, through the University of Scranton, in 2008. I received my Master's Degree in Childhood Education and Special Education, through Pace University, in 2012. I am also a graduate of the New York City Teaching Fellows Program, Cohort 20!
