TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 6th grade math for 15 years. I have taught College Prep and Honors (pre-algeabra). I now teach 6th grade science. In my early years of teaching I taught in a school where no one shared resources. Now I teach in a school where everyone plans together and shares everything. I have learned how valuable that really is for the teachers and the students. I wish TpT had existed when I first began teaching.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is always evolving and it changes each year based on the needs of my students. I always love a good mix of direct instruction, partnering, collaborative small groups, and inquiry based learning.
