TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a High School special education teacher for a self-contained life skills class. I work primarily with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Intellectual Disabilities. I have been working in this position for the past five years. Prior to that I worked as paraprofessional in a school for students with severe disabilities, and in an elementary resource setting.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My number one goal for my students is to gain independence! We work on functional academics, independent living skills, and vocational skills to help my students prepare for post secondary life.
