TEACHING EXPERIENCE

We are Wendy Darasz and Jen Yagid. We have a combined teaching experience of over 40 years, spanning grades K-6. Many of those years were spent in a regular education classroom. We are currently employed as Reading Specialists, K-6, by a suburban town in Connecticut. The students with whom we work represent a diverse population, including, regular and special education students, English language learners, and minorities. In our heart of hearts, we are teachers. We respect teachers and recognize the numerous responsibilities for which they are held accountable.
