I value competency over fact-memorization and strive to create authentic learning tasks to foster transfer of learning from the classroom to the real world. We all learn better when we enjoy what we're doing, so I try to making learning fun whenever possible!

I have a Bachelors Degree in History and another in Education (with minors in Curriculum Development & Instruction and Learning & Developmental Disabilities). I am currently taking a Masters program focusing on educational leadership in complex and urban schools.
