TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 6th year teaching 8th grade science. I am currently working towards my Masters Degree in 21st Century Teaching and Learning.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I started my career by trying to be a teacher who continuously thought outside of the box in order to challenge my students at a high level. I do not consider myself a teacher, but rather a facilitator. My goal is to tap into the curious minds of my students in order to bring out their ideal best. I want to provide my students opportunities to make connections with the real world. I structure all of my teaching off of inquiry-based learning where students create their own path throughout the year, all while staying within my curriculum.
