TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Years of home schooling my own children from 1st through 12th grades have given me experience in multi grade teaching and curriculum writing. In addition, I have experience in teaching high school level science, math, and creative writing classes to other home school students. In these classes, I supplemented the core text with creative resources to enhance learning and reach students with different learning styles. I tutor students of all ages, always with the goal of helping the student truly understand the lesson

MY TEACHING STYLE

*creative and resourceful *bringing in resources to help students go from surface to in depth learning *appreciating that all students do not learn with the same style
