I am currently a homeschooling SAHM and VIPKID ESL teacher. Previously, I taught Kindergarten and 2nd grade for 5 years in departmentalized and self-contained settings in a public school in sunny Miami, FL. I taught all content areas and have over 16 years of experience in the early childhood field.
My teaching style involves teaching students about character education, promoting independence among students, teaching children core concepts through art and music, and more.
Graduated Summa Cum Laude (4.0 GPA) with a Master of Science in Education Degree with a specialization in Curriculum Instruction and Technology; won Rookie Teacher of the Year 2016; Rookie Teacher of the Year Nominee 2014 and 2015; Dean's List 2010, 2011 and 2012.
Education has always been imperative in my home and I believe in applying the same philosophy and importance of passing on the torch of education to our students in the classroom and my children at home.
I currently hold a Florida Educator's Certificate in Pre-Kindergarten/Primary Education (Pre-K - 3rd grade) and in Preschool Education (Birth - Age 4). I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education degree from Ashford University in 2012 and have several educational publications.
