It's a Military Child Life

Currently, PREK homeschooling teacher, and LOVE it! I have taught Language Arts 8th Grade ESL Language Arts, Science and Social Studies. My experiences also are in 7th Grade Science, 5th Grade Multi-Subject, and 4th-8th Grade Spanish. One of my most recent professional experiences involve ESL/Adult Basic Education with a focus on Language Arts and Writing.

My teaching style is hands-on and play base with my preschooler. In the past with my middle and elementary students, my teaching involved a lot of the facilitator and delegator styles, which was also relevant with my adult students, as well. I always had clear objectives for each lesson, with I CAN statements, and with the content I introduced or reviewed-the students then applied it through journaling, independent work, and lots of learning activities in groups.

Hi! My name is Christie, and I am all about creating a classroom that sparks the imagination of my students. I am an experienced teacher of all ages, and now I am currently homeschooling, but still very active as a military family advocate for military children.
