TEACHING EXPERIENCE

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a firm believer in relevancy and fun. I try to incorporate humor when possible, and I strive to ask myself, "How would I have liked this lesson to be taught when I was in high school?" I want my students to feel comfortable, engaged, and involved.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

At my current high school, I was voted by my colleagues the "2016 Teacher of the Year." In a "Teachers Who's Who" segment for our 2016 yearbook, I was named "Most Inspiring Teacher" based on student body voting. I was greatly humbled by both honors.
