TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I began my teaching journey in August of 2000. This year embarks my fourth year teaching Kindergarten. I taught fourth grade for one year and the rest of my experience has been in the first grade classroom. Teaching has been a joy and an adventure.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I enjoy giving students the opportunity to work not only independently but also in groups with a hands-on approach. It is important that they have a chance to apply their learning. Incorporating high yield strategies has been a great way to engage students in their learning in a meaningful way.

I love spending time with my husband, our families and friends. In my free time I enjoy creating products not only for my personal classroom, but teachers around the world. Creating quality products that save teachers time and energy brings me joy. My husband and I enjoy college football, a great high school football game (nothing like Friday night lights in Texas), cooking together and giving back to help other Veteran's in our community.
