TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in my 7th year teaching. I taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 1st grade for the past 3 years. All 7 years have been in two different public schools.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to integrate technology into my classroom lessons and activities. I used a flipped classroom model where students watch videos that I have recorded or uploaded, while other students are learning/reviewing concepts with a game or in a small group with me. I try to find hands-on activities that engage learners.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I received Teacher of the Month award at my school in January 2012.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I obtained my Master in Educational Leadership in 2009.
