I have been teaching at the middle school level for 16 years. I have also taught a GED adult education course. My middle school experience centers around math math and science (with science being my passion.) I also believe in integrating technology in a meaningful and purposeful way. Our digital native students are living in a different world than the one we grew up in. This technology integration has lead me to become a teacher and staff development leader in technology. My adult education work has provided me experience with a very different population. My students have all had varied life experiences that have caused them to drop out of school but each has one thing in common - they want to better themselves. This is the lesson I take from my students.
Engaging, hands-on, and organized.

I am a mom of 4 lovely girls aging from 4 to 15... which means my house is always a bit messy and I am never quite free to relax. However I love to scrapbook, read, and design anything. I am also attempting to start running --- maybe with a 5K in the future (this fall?) I am currently the slowest runner on Earth but I can run for 2 miles without stopping!!!
