Jacquie's Reading Lessons are based on my experience as a elementary, secondary, special education, and reading teacher. Each lesson has been previously published as part of a complete research-based program. I wish you the success I, and hundreds of others, have experienced using these lessons.
I approach teaching with a multi-sensory focus using a combination of Cooperative Learning & Direct Instruction. Jacquie's lesson sequence and activities help create a classroom culture in which learning is fun for both teachers and the students. To ensure that learning has taken place, mastery is an essential element in my teaching style. Madeline Hunter said it best: To say that you have taught when students haven't learned is to say you have sold when no one has bought.
