I am excited to be entering my 7th year of teaching! My first year was spent teaching 5th grade, while the remaining time has been in 2nd grade. Although the age difference is huge, all students love to be engaged in a meaningful learning experience...and that's my goal! I have also spent a large amount of time as a tutor working with students from Pre-K to 8th grade.
As a teacher, my goal that I help my students develop into lifelong learners. Knowledge is at their fingertips, and living in a fast paced society, students need to be equipped with the tools to be independent learners. I aim to create lifelong learners through engaging, hands-on, meaningful learning activities.
