I began my educational career in 2000, teaching Pre-K through 5th grade computers at my old private school in St. Louis, MO. I also worked at the before and after school program there. When that school closed due to budget concerns, I supervised the before and after school program at another private school in the area. After working and getting through school I began teaching third grade in 2011 and fourth grade in 2017 in the Wentzville School District. This is my 7th year teaching at Wentzville and I love it there My team is amazing!
I'm a firm believer in the "I do, We do, You do" philosophy. I also give my kids choices and keep them a part of our classroom decision making. We are a family in my classroom and we strive to treat others as such while being consistent with rewards and consequences. I want every one of my students to succeed, not only in fourth grade, but further in life, and that is how I teach and what we center our discussions around as a class.

We have two boys, Vince and Luke. Vince is 3, and Luke will be 1 in August 2018! I love teaching, writing and playing music and when I'm not spending time with my wonderful family, I enjoy drawing and playing sports.
