Elementary education teacher, 3rd and 4th grade. Implemented instruction for students in the areas of reading, writing, language, social studies, and mathematics.
My teaching strategies are focused on meeting the needs of all elementary school aged children. I have a desire to educate all young minds and to help them blossom into well-rounded, responsible, and successful individuals. Throughout my teaching career I have been presented with opportunities to teach diverse groups of students, including those with learning disabilities, those who perform at grade level, and those who are gifted/exceptional learners. As a result, I have become proficient at designing creative lesson plans that are aligned directly with the Common Core Standards, establishing an optimal learning environment for all students.
