I began my teaching career in 1975 and taught seven years of first grade. I got married and then began to teach part-time pre-school as I raised my two sons. After 10 years teaching pre-school, my sons were raised and I decided it was time to make money for them to go to college! I have been teaching Kindergarten at my current school for 15 years. During my summers off from teaching, I was also a closet writer. I wrote books for 10 years without being published, and finally my first book was published in 2002 by Pineapple Press.
