I am in my 31st year of teaching. I have spent most of that time in the classroom teaching grades 4 & 5. I cannot imagine doing anything else. I changed to Reading Specialist grades 3-6 two years ago; I am really enjoying the new challenge.
I incorporate a variety of strategies as well as including the arts in my classroom. I am really excited to be focusing on reading as the Reading Specialist for grades 3-6.
