TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for 5 years in three different schools. I have primarily served as a High School English Teacher, although I have also taught, drama, 8th Grade US History, Speech, AVID, and Career and Life Choices (a Freshmen Prep Class). I also coached Speech and Debate for 4 years and as Theater Director for one year.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My goal is to provide students with the skills that they need to access whatever future goals they have for themselves. I consider it important to not just teach students a subject but to help them learn how to develop critical reasoning and problem solving skills so that they can access information and other resources in the future.
