TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 13th year teaching in a public high school. I have taught chemistry at the standard and honors levels, physics at the standard and honors levels, physical science, and the AVID elective. I was fortunate enough to be able to develop a chemistry bridge course for at risk high school students through CERTL, a program of Wake Forrest University's medical school. Over the past few years I was also a trained learning community leader in the implementation and use of formative assessments.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Student centered when at all possible.
