TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently a literacy interventionist, but for the three years prior to this, I looped with my class from 2nd to 3rd to 4th, and the five years prior to this I have had the opportunity to work at 2nd grade and have taught 2nd grade academy classes, reading intervention classes, and regular education at this level. I have taught 4th grade and 5th grade science and math. I have taught 5th and 6th grade ELA instruction.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Teaching with centers and differentiation while integrating technology, reader's workshop, and writer's workshop helps to drive a balanced literacy program where personal student goals can be developed and achieved through personalized instructional methods and project-based learning directives.
