TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching high school English for twenty years. Also, I have been teaching as an adjunct at the community college level for ten years,

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to show my students why literature is important and how it can be beneficial to their daily lives and how it can help them grow intellectually. I know many of them won't love a Shakespeare play or a Keats poem as much as I do, or that they will "get it" the first time I teach it, but if I can open their minds to the possibility, then I believe I have done my job.
