TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a lover of history who has 33 years experience teaching U.S. History, Government, and Geography at the high school level.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach in a student centered classroom. It is my belief that all students can learn, it is the teacher's job to find the way each student can do that. I act more as a facilitator with the goal of bringing out that learning style in each student. It is a great day when the students have talked more than the teacher !

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Excellent rating as classroom teacher.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

B.S. in Secondary Education (1983); M.S. in Educational Administration (1996)

My wife and I have two children and three grandchildren. I love reading, traveling, and St. Louis Cardinal baseball !
