TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught all grades between 6th and 12th, except for 7th, but also on the community college level since 1984. Uploading curriculum onto TpT makes me anticipate suggestions, think through assignments more fully, and expect more from my activities or assessments.

I value having students engaged with each other and in their learning -- especially through presentations and skits -- and in using technology in the classroom.

I graduated with an English Major from St. Michael's College in VT and a Masters in Creative Writing from NYU in New York City. I consider myself a writer, a teacher, and coach.
