I have taught U.S. History, World History, Chemistry and Biology for Freshmen and Sophomores for five years. For each class I have taught the courses at both a general level as well as an "Essentials" or simplified level for special education students.
My teaching style is very active and energetic. I am extremely passionate about my students, the course content and the process of learning. The assignments I post are meant to engage the students beyond the traditional classroom model, however, these are not meant to completely replace traditional teaching methods.

I am fortunate to have grown up in family full of teachers. My father, brother and brother-in-law have all taught social studies at the high school level with some experience teaching at the University level as well. This unique situation has helped me to develop some of our most creative ideas as our family get togethers can quickly turn into impromptu professional development meetings where we bounce ideas off each other.
