TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been a Librarian at the University of Virginia for 30 years, and have lectured on library skills and genealogy as part of my work. My most popular presentation is "Finding Your Kin: Getting Started in Genealogy." I am the author of several published books: Index to Records of Ante-Bellum Southern Plantations. 2nd Ed. (2009); A Guide to Historical Charlottesville and Albemarle County, Virginia (2007); Virginia Genealogy: A Guide to Resources at the University of Virginia Library (2005); and Index of the Students of the University of Virginia, 1825-1874 (2011).
