TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I spent my first two years in an intensive program, where I was sent to a failing district to raise district scores. Both years spent preparing 10th graders for a background on US history and tutoring 11th graders for their state test. Now I'm teaching 6th grade ELA in Texas, getting a group of students in a Title 1 school ready for their state test.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Fast paced and interactive, using as many cultural references and organizers as possible to cater to every kind of learner.
