TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for the last 16 years, and have taught everything from Pre-K to Third Grade. I have been on my school district's leadership team, presented at various conferences, and have won numerous awards and grants for curriculum I have written.

MY TEACHING STYLE

It is my duty as a teacher to empower students to be independent thinkers, and my lessons are written to lead students to realize that they do not need anyone's help. I am focused on writing Science lessons that align to the Next Generation Science Standards and its three dimensions, with student performance expectations that include both understanding and application.
