TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught grades 4-7 and I am currently teaching 3rd grade. I have taught in the private setting, at a charter school for children with learning disabilities, and I am now teaching in a public school. I have been self contained and I now teach math, science, and social studies.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to do lots of group work. My groups are always determined by ability level mixing the high, low, and average students. A lot of the activities the students do are self discovery. I use a lot of Whole Brain and Kagan strategies in my classroom.
