I started teaching in 2008, working with Grades 3 and 4. Since then, I have worked with many different grade levels, and have been working the past few years with Grade 6.
I believe very strongly that students need to be engaged to learn, and they need to feel safe and nurtured if they're going to be expected to take risks with their learning. Each student is a unique individual, and deserves to be treated as such! A fun classroom to be in is a fun classroom to learn in!
Edwin Parr Award nominatee (2008) Student Select Teaching Award nominee (2014-15)
