I have 8.5 years of teaching experience, all in self-contained classrooms for students who have autism. My experience in 4 years k-1, 1 year of high school and 3.5 years of middle school. Working on a grant with the University of NC-Charlotte, the school system I worked for utilized adapted novels with great success. I was hired to adapt "To Kill a Mockingbird" for the school system and it is used in most high school self-contained classrooms. Currently have 5 titles available for sale including "A Christmas Carol", "Huck Finn", Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County, To Build A Fire and Romeo and Juliet.
Energetic and holistic....integrating units from adapted books.
I am honored to serve those in the autism and special education communities.
