TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 14 years of Middle School Social Studies. I have always wanted to be the BEST social studies teacher not only in my local area but in the state of Iowa...and even the United States. I am driven by my creative ability to develop outstanding lessons that are interactive and enjoyable for students. I hope you'll feel the same and that your students will grow like mine have.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is very active. I believe students learn best through active learning. Many of my lessons involve students participating in the 1st person...taking on character of others in history. I have chosen only to post my top lessons...ones students list as their favorites of the year.
