TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for fifteen years, and have taught all grades 6-12. I have taught English I, II, III, IV--all levels including Pre-AP. I am also certified by College Board and have taught both AP Literature and Composition and AP Language and Composition, each for four years. This past year 100% of my students passed the AP Lang exam. I have also taught Humanities, Theater History, Drama Wheel, Art History, and Social Studies. I also teach Humanities as an adjunct college professor (online).

MY TEACHING STYLE

Visual aids! I use A LOT of Power-Point presentations to enhance my lessons. I make all my own materials--never use a textbook. I use rubrics in all subjective evaluation.
