TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have the honor of saying I've been teaching First Grade for 16 years, although my career is 19 years old. What I love about my job is that each day is different and never, EVER boring. I think the students have taught me a lot and have kept me young at heart. I wouldn't trade jobs with anyone!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I went to Long Beach City College then transferred to California State University, Long Beach, for my bachelor's in Liberal Studies and Multiple Subject credential. I've since continued to attend workshops and college courses, through which I've earned enough units to have two masters' degrees. Oh well.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have a blog called I Wost My Wunch on Blogspot. The speech development of first graders never ceases to pull at my heart and I think it's just adowabow. For 15 years I said I'm going to write a book and call it I Wost My Wunch, so 3 years ago, I created a blog. I live in Sacramento, CA, and have worked in both Southern and Northern California as a teacher.
