I have over 16 years of Spanish teaching experience both in the regular face to face classroom and online. 6 of those years were at the elementary level...the rest high school. Recently I moved from Michigan to California and this is my first year teaching in an urban setting. What a difference 2300 miles makes!
My teaching varies depending on whether I am teaching online or face to face as well as the grade level that I am teaching. I love teaching with stories (TPRS) and feel that a communicative classroom is the best way for students to acquire the Spanish language.
