I just finished my first official year with my own classroom of students! I was previously an afterschool art teacher. I love teaching second grade and I find it to be a wonderful outlet for my own creativity.
I lead a very active, hands-on classroom. My students love the art projects I incorporate into our daily lessons. I relish the moments when my students make “beautiful ooopses” out of their “mistakes”. It is their “what-if” sense of possibility and playfulness that keeps me smiling. I hope you enjoy my creations!
Please stay tuned for something awesome.
I graduated from Mills College with a B.A. in Studio Art. Then I received my teaching credential and M.A. in Education from the University of California, Davis.
I am based in Northern California. I am an artist as well as a nature-enthusiast and lover of dogs. Thanks for stopping by! Visit my website at www.jenniferpeart.com and my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/jenniferpeartdesign
