I have been a theatrical educator in the NJ for the past 13 years. In this time I have taught at several performing arts centers and theatre companies, as well as lead professional development workshops in many school districts.
I don't necessarily focus on one specific type of acting method, instead I do what I call a blend. I take the 5 senses, and add some imagination to how we can explore them.
I have not only been an educator, but also had the pleasure of being the Assistant Director of Education to one of the most influential children's theatre companies in NJ: "THE SHOESTRING PLAYERS." In the time I spent with them I also had the pleasure of teaching at the Kaleidascope Festival in Scotland and being one of the head drama instructors that lead several acting workshops and perform in their touring company. I also worked recently as the Director of Education for the WHAT EXIT? Theatre Company and helped to expand not only their class offerings, but also their after-school enrichment programs.
-I received my BA in both Fine Arts and Communciations from FDU. -Studied for a semester with the Shakespeare Company in England. -Apprenticed for the education departments for the Pushcart Players and Playwrights Theatre of NJ -Studied at the School for Film and TV
